William Tyndale

William Tyndale.jpg

Almost missed this. Yesterday marked the anniversary of William Tyndale’s death in 1536 as he was convicted of heresy for teaching and preaching the gospel. His sentence consisted of being tied to a stake, strangled, then burned at the stake. A heavy price to pay for the man who translated the first ever English translation of the Greek Bible.
